Why do lenders avoid foreclosures?
One of the biggest misconception among the homeowners is that the lender conduct property foreclosure in order to take over their property and hence most of the time hesitate to directly negotiate with the lenders. But on the contrary the lenders themselves try and avoid real estate foreclosure and try and help the people facing foreclosure. It is not that they are generous with their money but for the very simple fact that most of the time to avoid foreclosure is beneficial for them.
They might take over the property but the entire foreclosure process involves a lot of expenses and the lenders would have to hire lawyers and legal experts at each stage from the pre foreclosure period. They surely get a house at a very low cost but the deal as a whole is seldom profitable and even if the lenders make some money of real estate foreclosures the effort and time put into it are not worth it. Hence as a borrower always remember that the lenders would always help you avoid foreclosure. |
